Yet I Dream

My spirit is broken.
Any good thing I have is taken.
Everyone is like a broken reed.
Everything is a ditch to lead.
To be a means of gleam,
Yet I dream.

I know it is my last-ditch.
Yet I strive to reach.
I try with my shaky wrist.
To break the back of the beast.
Things do not happen according to the scheme,
Yet I dream.

I dream to live another day.
I try to find another way.
Sometimes I get a negative vibe;
I find it hard to survive.
The agony evokes me to blow off steam,
Yet I dream.

The obstacles make it harder
So that I cannot make it larger;
Larger than life;
Larger than hype.
My adversaries make me scream.
Yet I dream.
