Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: NIL
Ingredients: (serves 4)
- apple cider vinegar- 2 cups
- honey- 2 tbsp
- apples cut into bite size pieces- 1 cup
- cherries cut into halves or fourths- 1 cup
First and foremost, prepare the ingredients so your cooking time is more efficient. Cut the apples and cherries into very small pieces as shown in the picture. They have to first be drunk with the juice so smaller makes it easier. Give the cut apples and cherries a really good mix. Next, in a tall jug, pour in two cups of apple cider vinegar and add the honey. You can substitute this with any preferable apple juice also. Do not add too much honey at this stage because the cherries will release some of their natural sweetness. Then in the glass you will be serving in, fill it 3/4th of the way up with the combined apples and cherries. It is crucial that you combine first or else the cherries will sink to the bottom and apples will float to the top. The final step is to pour in the apple cider mixture/ apple juice and serve chilled. There you have it, quick and easy apple dew.
